Procedure
STEP 1: Based on Number of SVID‘s present in the VIF of the DUT, the GRL-USB-PD-C2 / C2-EPR tester initiates Discover SVID and expects DUT to ACK those messages.
STEP 2: For Each modes present in the SVID, the GRL-USB-PD-C2 / C2-EPR tester initiates Discover mode messages.
Discover mode message of SVID-1 and Number of modes present in the SVID-1:
Discover mode message of SVID-2 and Number of modes present in the SVID-2:
Based on the number of Modes present in the Discovery Mode ACK message sent by the DUT, the GRL-USB-PD-C2 / C2-EPR tester initiates Entry and Exit modes.
STEP 3: If the DUT ACK’s the GRL-USB-PD-C2 / C2-EPR tester initiated Discover mode message then for each Discovery mode message the GRL-USB-PD-C2 / C2-EPR tester initiates Entry mode message.
STEP 4: If the DUT response is ACK for Entry mode message then the GRL-USB-PD-C2 / C2-EPR tester initiates Exit mode message.
